October 10, 2011 – RALEIGH, N.C. – MedPro President Nancy McFarlane was honored with Business Leader Magazine’s 2011 Movers & Shakers Award. The awards were presented at a reception at Brier Creek Country Club on Oct. 6. In 2002, McFarlane launched MedPro Rx, and has led the pharmacy to be a multi-million dollar company over the past nine years. As president, she implemented a vision to create a pharmacy that would not only coordinate pharmaceutical care with existing community resources, but also serve as an advocate for the bleeding disorder community. MedPro Rx has several community outreach programs, including its “Education is Power” scholarship program.
