July 8, 2009 — Medpro Rx, Inc. has been recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. This is the third time that MedPro Rx has received this accreditation. Accreditation is regarded as one of the key benchmarks for measuring the quality of an organization, along with its products and services. In the United States, standard setting by industry leaders with peer review is widely accepted, resulting in better planning, implementation and further evaluation of all processes. Accreditation standards provide the catalyst for organizational management strategy with the on-site survey to determine if the company is actually performing according to the goals and objectives it has adopted in its system. Accreditation is awarded for a three-year period. Maintaining accreditation is contingent upon continued compliance with ACHC’s standards during this period.
“We are proud to be re-accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. for a third consecutive time here at MedPro Rx,” said Andy Clark, R.Ph. director of clinical operations and quality improvement. “This achievement further illustrates our commitment to quality infusion patient care and coordination.”
