MedPro Rx staff members will join representatives from Hemophilia of North Carolina to participate in the National Hemophilia Foundation’s (NHF) annual Washington Days event, which will take place from Wednesday, Feb. 16 to Friday, Feb. 18 in Washington D.C. During the three-day event, MedPro Rx representatives, along with representatives from hemophilia foundations throughout the United States, will meet with their local congressional representatives and senators to discuss health care legislation as it pertains to bleeding disorders, share their experiences of living with or having a loved one affected by a bleeding disorder, and discuss health care costs and other topics identified by the NHF.
Washington Days empowers individuals in the bleeding disorders community to affect the legislative process by becoming more informed on critical issues that affect access to high-quality care, meeting face-to-face with lawmakers and staff who shape national health care policy, and learning effective grassroots advocacy techniques.
